KRS LYSKUNSTFESTIVAL invites artists, designers, architects, technologists and interdisciplinary art collectives to submit proposals for a new light art work. We are looking for projects that explore light as an artistic medium and create powerful experiences at the intersection of peopl, place and technology. The project does not have to be fully developed; we are looking for good ideas with clear artistic potential.
-
We welcome proposals from artists and creative practitioners working with light in its many forms.
This may include:
Light installations and sculptural works
Projection mapping and video-based installations
Interactive and participatory artworks
Laser art and experimental uses of light
Site-specific interventions in public space
Experimental, interdisciplinary and emerging practices
We welcome both existing artworks and new proposals, including experimental ideas that challenge conventional approaches to light art.
